Candace Aiani, EdD, MALS

Hi there! I'm Candace, and I'm passionate about libraries, education, and helping people reach their academic goals. With over 20 years of experience in library services and education, I bring a unique blend of expertise to the table.

I hold a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of San Diego, complemented by a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona, Tucson, and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of California, Irvine.

I had the pleasure of serving as a Librarian and K-12 Library Coordinator at Taipei American School from 1999-2021. In this role, I spearheaded various projects aimed at enhancing access to digital resources and creating collaborative learning environments.

Some of my notable achievements include drafting comprehensive library strategic plans, facilitating library renovations, and introducing innovative services and online technologies to students and faculty.

Before my international endeavors, I gained valuable experience as a Language Arts/English Teacher and Librarian in the United States, where I developed a deep appreciation for literacy instruction and educational enrichment.

I'm honored to have contributed to esteemed publications and have had the opportunity to present at conferences worldwide. I'm also actively involved in professional associations like the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and the American Library Association (ALA).

I'm excited about the opportunity to leverage my expertise to support libraries and educational institutions in their quest for excellence. If you're interested in collaborating or learning more about my services, feel free to reach out—I'd love to connect!
